In house training facility for Broadview
2008-5-14

News from Blinds & Shutters Magazine

Edited by Jenny Yan

With a trade account network of more than 150 dealers nationwide, Broadview has invested in designing and developing its in-house training facility at the company’s Poole Headquarters.

The company says this is to facilitate the ongoing training program which Broadview provides free to ensure that all of its dealers are knowledgeable on the latest product innovations and industry developments.

Broadview’s UK dealer network has been operating since 1996 and to support this network the management team continually look to improve the service it provides.  The new training facility will play a fundamental role in the Broadview trade network and will complement Broadview’s existing training tools which include an easy-to-navigate website that provides extensive technical and specification information.

With the help of tuition from Broadview’s trade sales team, each dealer will leave a training session with a wealth of product knowledge and details on current trends within the marketplace.

The training room enables dealers to view and operate a range of new products, including the Twinstor back to back awnings and Prostor parasols, as well as having the opportunity to learn about the latest technical developments and benefits of each product. A fully-landscaped external display has also been created at Broadview’s headquarters. This features a range of external products, set up in an outdoor environment with a variety of accessories, such as LED lighting and heating.

Martin Rayner, sales director at Broadview, commented: “To offer a personal, high quality service to our commercial and domestic customers, one which surpasses their expectations, means that we need to provide our dealers with regular in-depth training sessions. Our new training facility will provide us with the flexibility to provide training to our dealers as and when required, according to industry and product developments.”

He added: “As a result of trading for almost 40 years, we have extensive experience in all aspects of the blinds and awnings industry including manufacturing, supplying, installing and retailing. We introduced the training facility because we want to pass on this knowledge to our dealers and provide them with the highest levels of support.”
